Rev Stephen Trott

Welcome to these web pages, which I hope will provide all the information you need about church life in these parishes in Northamptonshire, just to the north of the county town itself.

I have been the Rector (or parish priest) here since 1988. I am originally from Cumberland, now Cumbria, where I grew up. I went to school in Birmingham, where I also began my university education. I went on from there to Hull University and to Cambridge, where I read Theology and trained for ordination.

I live in Boughton with Caroline and our three children, and you can follow the links above to see more about the two villages in the benefice of Pitsford with Boughton.

I also serve as a member of General Synod, the Church of England's parliament, and as a Church Commissioner. There is more information about these bodies in the links above.

Baptism

We look forward to welcoming you and your children to receive Baptism and to prepare for Confirmation.

Weddings

If you live here or worship here it may be possible to arrange for your wedding or the blessing of your marriage in one of our churches.

Teaching

We teach the  Christian faith according to the Bible, the Creeds and the Anglican tradition of Word and Sacrament.

          Our goals

We seek to make known the love of God which he revealed to his Church in the person of his Son, Jesus Christ, and his saving work on the Cross for all mankind.
